Richard Mills is a retired federal probation officer. He also worked for the federal Bureau of Prisons as a correctional officer and as a case manager. He was an infantry and field artillery officer in the Kentucky Army National Guard and was a military policeman in the United States Marine Corps (Reserve). Mr. Mills lives in Knox County, Kentucky, with his wife and his dog, Bo.
